PROPERTY DAMAGE INCIDENTS

  • Damage to client property can happen when equipment comes into contact with walls, columns, doors, displays, shelves, checkouts, light fixtures and more. It can also happen if chemicals (stripper, wax, etc.) are spilled or splash on walls, furniture or other areas.

HOW TO RESPOND TO PROPERTY DAMAGE

Step 1 Take photos right away and document step by step how the incident occurred

Step 2 

Report the incident to the store manager

Report the incident to your Account Manager if you are an hourly employee; if you are a Owner Operator Employee report this to your employer.

Note: Cleaning equipment (auto scrubber, etc.) may need to be inspected following a property damage incident; contract your Account Manager if you are unsure.

Step 3  The Scandi Account Manager will communicate with the store and your employer if there is a cost associated with these damage.
